Leptynites
with amphibolo-pyroxenite intercalation often with rutile and graphite
abound in certain areas in Madagascar. Leptynites derive from granites
by disappearance of mica; the garnetiferous mica schists constitute
the opposed pole in which biotite prevails, with progressive disappearance
of feldspar. |
